Chair of Harrogate District CPRE Linda Potter and fellow campaigners are celebrating that North Yorkshire County Council is not going ahead with building a waste transfer station at Bar Lane in Knaresborough.
The Farnham Quarry site off Boroughbridge Road had been earmarked as a preferred site in NYCC’s waste strategy.
